I recreated a video of "My drunk kitchen" with Stephanie and our project can be found on her blog, along with the video of our example. Neither of us felt truly confident in our video editing skills, so we decided to work together. Even though Hannah Hart, the greater of my drunk kitchen, typically cooks on her channel, we decided to do a "How to" on creating soaps instead, creating a nice integration with our Impact25 project.
This is for both of you (Tiffany and Stephanie) I love it!! It is such a smart way to connect both your projects together by re-creating this kitchen video. So impressed about how much determination you had to actually create this video at the same time as making the soaps, as well to have a video in mind. Both of you together are so funny, you are even better than the actual drunk kitchen video. I want to see more episodes! You also knew that you were being funny so it was really cute as well. The editing is so well thought of. Amazing job! Thank you for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is also for both Tiffany and Stephanie! I love your recreation of drunk kitchen! You are both hilarious! I was laughing out loud in the library to all of Tiffany's side whispers. Please start your own youtube channel. Art teachers get drunk and make crafts. I love how you used the music, cheering, and sparkle swipe graphics over your names to set the tone! They worked perfectly. So many small details that added so much to the overall effect. I also feel like videos like this are a really great way to engage students (maybe without the wine haha). Students could make funny youtube tutorials about how to make collographs or use a green screen to share with their classmates. Students are so engaged with youtube, instagram, and gameplay videos. Stephanie and I were even told by a 5th grader today that he has his own Youtube channel. This would be such a great way to engage students who are interested in this kind of stuff. Anyway, as Tammy said, fantastic job! I was laughing and smiling the whole way through and now want to go make some homemade soap!
ReplyDeleteThis is also for both Tiffany and Stephanie. Great collaboration and integrating the impact 25 project together. I have seen drunk history but never drunk kitchen. I really enjoyed your take on it. I agree with Eva. PLEASE to a drunk arts and crafts channel on Youtube. I believe everyone would appreciate it, especially the teachers and moms out there. Keep going. I'm not sure if you can use youtube in public school in NYC but maybe doing vimeo videos would make it a fun way to do an art lesson demo... just a thought. Great job you guys!
