(6.3) Final Impact25 Project

     This project was an extreme amount of fun and was quite rewarding in the end. I think it was the perfect integration of my personal objective of combining tradition and digital art. There is one version of "tradigital" art where you start in one art form and have each process build on top of the other. This version, however, was a call and response between the two mediums, which I think was really successful. It also helped me become just a little more proficient with my digital tools, which is another goal of mine. I also tried out a new art form, soap making, that I never thought I would do and it has spurred a new interest in me to the point where I'm using it in other art projects and still making "personality" soaps (see images below). These soaps have been spurring new drawings and interesting explorations for me into the ideas of branding and graphic design.
